When you encounter the Canon Error Code 6000, you will be shown the following message: “A printer error 6000 has occurred. Please turn the printer off and on again. If the problem persists, consult the manual”.
Here are some of the most likely reasons resulting in the printer error 6000:-
1- There are foreign objects such as dust particles, pieces of paper, pins, stickers, or other objects blocking the paper feed tray from opening properly. Due to the jam, the printer shows error 6000.
2- If the paper feed tray is not installed correctly in the printer, the error code may be displayed.
3- When you accidentally give multiple print commands at the same time, there is a possibility that the paper may jam in the feeder.
4- If the printer is surrounded by a lot of other documents that prevent proper ventilation of the printer fans, it could cause the 6000 error.
5- There is a defect in the printer’s sensor unit or inline feed slot.
